LBP/LBR section?

#1 Post by paxtond »

couldn't seem to find a suggestion section so if this is in the wrong place please let me know.

i was wondering since a lot of us are now involved in LBP/LBR shooting and there are more and more comps popping up could we get a section to cover these guns as they seem to get posted up in full bore/ rimfire forums and then swallowed up by other topics.

what you guys think? :good:

I think a separate 'Pistol' section is an excellent idea :good:

*gets pedantic*

It should be called the "handgun" section, rather than "pistols". (We'll not insist on pawguns)

A handgun covers all options, whereas:

* A pistol is a handgun whose barrel and chamber are integral
* A revolver has a barrel and a chamber that are separate

An automatic is usually a pistol, but some revolvers can be too as technically a pepperbox is a pistol and not a revolver even though the barrels revolve...

I would certainly be interested in seeing such a sub forum created and including BP pistols even though we have a BP section.
