Straight Pull effect on velocity?

#1 Post by SevenSixTwo »

What effect on velocity does straight pull typically produce?

I know that's a rather vague question but I'm assuming that as no gasses are used in cycling the action there must be an increase in velocity of sorts?... Is it significant? Negligible?

Not sure on velocity but it does improve accuracy.

Its not going to effect the POI in a straight pull. Just like every rifle has a slightly different POI, even between identical rifles, it is something that you will compensate for with your sight settings when you zero.
