Joe West stocks

Just a post to let people know that Joe West in Norfolk has a new website - well worth a visit if you're contemplating getting a laminated stock.

They make some really nice, effective ones - match, tactical, sporting types etc. Still a lot to be said for wood even if purists pout and mutter 'plywood'.

Hey! He has some stocks with the top scooped out for your head to fit, instead of those jacked-up rollover combs or cheek pieces.

The combs might have been useful when scopes sat four inches above the barrel, but with a modern low-mount scope, I wind up having to roll my head and look across the bridge of my nose.
