Will do guys, its being joined by another SP L1A1 at the end of the week, this one is an ex New Zealand Army example ( should be the only live ex NZ L1 in the UK) I sourced the kit with a dedicated .22lr build in mind, but the reverse engineering of the bolt coupled with barrel manufacture proved insurmountable at this time, so its joining the collection as another 7.62x51, pics of her too when she's finished!

Happy Birthday HV, sounds like it has the basis of a good one as well. Do you have any pictures of the bolt?

Hi David, when you say bolt mate...which one, the Maltby or the Lithgow?

Best birthday I have had in years!

Pics when I finally get back to my gunroom next week....the price of a day off....its all work until then, thank god for G3, at least I can check in on Full-bore!
