No, it's a classier version of the Daily Retard (Record) and Evening Tims (Times), Glasgow's favourite newspapers for the workshy, rampant footie fans and hard of thinking.

Some of those SNP types should be drinking Irn-Bru and not the Sunny- D (or maybe Kool-Aid they secretly imported).
Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!

Jones town was flavor aid, though the results were the same Chuck. I'm waiting for Sim G to come with the gist of his Alec Salmond letter. Do we have a Bat signal type calling for him? Maybe we could call it the Sim G signal?

How am I not surprised you were gonna come and say that? Maybe we could lure him here with, Cards loaded with enough loyalty points to buy a weeks worth of stock, baguettes and gingerbreadmen?

I think his missus will wrestle you to the ground and make you cry uncle one of these days 8-)

But the letter would useful, at least the text that doesn't contain any sensitive info about Sim so as to get a glimpse into the twisted Psyche of Alec Salmond.

Shame there is no 'open carry' ! Then all Scotland shooters could organise a protest meet outside the Scottish parliament with their rifles slang over their backs !
Why cant the sheeple see that an armed citzenary keeps the government in check !

The SNP could also hold the balance of power in Westminster... making anti-gun demands of Labour (who will capitulate in a heartbeat).

It's not looking good.

Its like the Alamo, only worse soundbites and no decent characters. Why the country is becoming so ungovernable is hard to say.

If labour gets in and that's is still an if, the uk armed cillivian will be a thing of the past ! They will all be banned ! And I belive no concession to farmers ! At the same time we see the routine or more new firearms for plod ! Plod will prob be able to keep conficated firearms for themselves ! Pest control will be given over to specalist companies or the armed police !
This will apply to every country in the union including NI remember Westminster has the final say on all firearms laws !
I hope I'm wrong !

No other EU country have gun laws like overs. It amazing that lot of people think that only usa is allowed to have guns and every else's they are banned

You probably are wrong Joe. Certainly the civil servants at the time were amazed at how much the pistol ban cost. We're out of the 1997 era territory. We still have some of our firearms despite labour and keep in mind the conservatives screwed us when they could. You want to worry about how else we can get screwed over. Just imagine what granting a load of concessions to Scotland is going to do to opinion in England and possibly Wales. The resentment is going to increase like nothing ever seen before.

Also if you want to see part of the problem with conservatives winning elections. Its how much the party has died. It lost half its membership during Cameron's leadership and local associations have withered (even where I live, a safe labour seat once had a thriving conservative party, but its died). They show no sign of arresting it and anything that requires more than a little ounce of effort is never done. If the Tories could have spent the Cameron early years building up a base, locking in that base and building a proper coalition rather than offending the people who were the core vote (its possible to keep your core vote onside and still attract new voters), they would not be in this mess. But in this mess they are. And people wonder why I say a new, more worthy party has to replace the conservatives. This is why.

Possibly but there are also 10 Northern Ireland unionist members of parliament, who are all pro gun including handguns and could have an influence.
Ulster Unionist Party support for shooting sports is ‘unequivocal’
Posted on Mar 9, 2015The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party has written to BASC, to say his party unequivocally supports BASC NI director Tommy Mayne, wrote to the leaders of Northern Ireland’s five main political parties to ask them if they supported lawful shooting sports.

Mike Nesbitt, leader of the Ulster Unionist Party, was the first to reply.

In his reply he thanked Tommy Mayne for his letter in which he asked whether the Ulster Unionist Party supports lawful shooting sports.
Mr Nesbitt’s letter reads: “The answer is an unequivocal yes. Country sports make a major contribution to the Northern Ireland economy each and every year. It provides much needed employment and sources of revenue generation in many of our rural areas.
“Of course the economic contribution is not the only benefit – I believe shooting has a hugely positive impact on our environment as many thousands of hectares are carefully managed for conservation by those involved in the sport.
“The Ulster Unionist Party strongly believes in the principle of securing strong animal welfare practices, however whilst many cannot appear to accept this, to us country sports have a key role in supporting our often fragile local ecosystem through managing animal populations.
“I am pleased to be able to give you a firm commitment that the Ulster Unionist Party will continue to respect and support the rights of those who engage in country sports.”
Tommy Mayne said: “I am delighted to have received this backing for lawful shooting sports from the Ulster Unionist Party and look forward to further positive responses from the leaders of Northern Ireland’s other political parties.”
