Not to mentioned the clothing and fashion side of the green wellied, tweed be-speckled cat walkers.
Not quite sure where you are going with that one dromia. Most of the sporting rifle shooters that I know who are prepared to spend a fortune on custom or semi custom rifles and high end scopes usually dress like tramps. It's pretty much the same with the top F class shooters to a certain extent.
Trade statistics show that clothing and shooting fashion accessories form a big part of gun trades income.

The purchasers may not actually be FAC/SGC holders them selves but it is all turnover for the trade.

Over the last ten years, I think I've spent more on my cheapest rifle (about 270) than I have on clothes.

But I'm a country bumpkin these days.

I once bought a tasteful Enfield tshirt from Suffolk rifle.

The stalls all seemed rather like second hand shops but there was no space to properly pick up and enjoy handling the weapons on display I was interested in. Also like as mentioned earlier in this thread it seemed a cash only affair with no facilities to get money out and I for one was not prepared to carry loads of dosh around with me. Even the main shop owners seemed bored with the whole affair which was also very off-putting, I won't be rushing back next year that's for sure
after hearing how much a pitch was, i'm not surprised...

I know some of the guys bring their own card machines

on a side note, I fondled the 2" westlake a few months ago when I bought my 4" blue, it is certainly on my shopping list when I can justify a use!

As this was my first proper NRA shoot, what do you get if you're listed on the 'PrizeList' ?

A medal or a trophy if there is one for that comp.

Just dragging this thread back up as in need of a contact for one of the traders that I've misplaced 8-)

Can't even remember the name now, and have accidentally deleted the memo I entered in my phone, but they were the stall on the left immediately as you went in the door to the Pavillion........they had some space mags for sale for the GSG Stg44 at the show, and I'm now in need of a couple.

Anyone recall who it was....?
