Ballistol question
Anyone else find using Ballistol makes them feel nauseous?

A few folk I've chatted to about it all said the same...
Much prefer Kroil - or Hoppes - or Parker Hale (for the smell)

Re: Ballistol question
Balistol stinks like old socks and stale dishwater.
I much prefer and use Youngs 303, made for the same original purpose as Balistol with antiseptic properties. Does all Balistol does plus for me works better than an oil as it is a tad thicker in its neat state.

Re: Ballistol question
I don't mind the smell, although the fumes it gives off make me cough a bit.
I think it is one of the most versatile cleaning/maintenance products available for firearms.
Where else can you find a product that lubricates moving parts, loosens fouling, feeds leather and wood and is safe to get on your skin.
I'll put up with the cough!
