We (the UK as an entity and a Member State) don't have to ASK anyone. We do have to TELL the EU that we really are leaving (ie notification under Art 50, or as the author of Art 50 suggested, just stop paying - they will soon notice ...). The referendum, officially, is entirely a UK internal matter.

Sim G has the right of it I'm sure. I can't see TM bringing forward primary legislation to give effect to anything that comes out of Brussels from now on. What are the EU going to do? Take us to a court we, a sovereign state, no longer recognise?

I think the current government would love to see tougher gun laws and just blame it on the EU.

What is going now behind closed door and EU commission minds IS VERY DANGEROUS folks.Looks like France,Germany and Italy officials are supporting ban on mags and semiautos.FU had a big problems to highlight the case in stream media recently and this is part of "frontal attack" by stab in the back to cover up hidden moves.Stassen-one of the committee expert was under investigation about illegal firearms dealing...but who's playing it?Looks like good Orwell book script-some animals are more even then others...UK is not safe from this,May will do a deal to soften any Brexit negatives...150K registered FAC holders....small price...it was a time a year ago to mount some legal team or something to fight the EU morons...but now I personally think is to late... kind of a "tunel war on The West Front" will be lost...but-you still will be watching googlebox, grand tour, get me out of here celebrity's etc...so,ble ble or bla bla or baah baah....I do not know yet, time will tell... fingerscrossed

I agree - a done deal behind closed doors and nobody seems to care. I'm alright jack.

The only hope is that the more vocal and numerous German firearm owners may have some clout.

Italy have been one of the worst for pushing it, despite the impact it will have on their firearms industry.

I don't have my firearms certificate yet but I find really frustrating watch them trying to ban everything they can for no reason.
I wonder what will be left to own when my is son older, he only 6 right now.

Waiting for the day a terrorist/criminal uses a bolt action rifle or shotgun in the uk and see how quick they ban them next :(
