Reccomend me a stapler please
I need a stapler for attaching targets to solid things so it needs to be able to stick a 1/2" staple into a solid lump of wood, last a reasonable time and not break my hand every time I use it.
Recommendations anyone?

Mines a Rapid proline R34, uses staple sizes 6 to 14 and I've had it for over ten years and stapled targets to loads of different surfaces with it

This will be no help at all, but I was going to suggest one like mine that has worked fine for the last 20 years, a Rexel 2001 Tacker, but Googling suggests they're no longer available.
But at least i can still get the staples for it clapclap

I've always used this Stanley heavy duty staple gun;

Its the only comfortable one I've ever used and doesn't require the wrists of a gorilla to operate.

I have always gone for el cheapo! Then there's not problem with 'loosing' it at the range!

I would suggest a Hammer Tacker ... they will certainly put 12mm staples into timber without a problem.
I'll look up the brand of mine which is around 10 years old ... and well used at times including putting breathable membranes on timber stud work, carpet underlay, insulating fleeces ...

Mine is an Arrow HT50P and I use Arrow staples with it - they have nice chisel points!

This one at £25 seems to be a very good price - the image sows HT50P on the metal work: HERE
