I went to Battlefield Los Vegas.

Good fun, had lots of the guns I wanted to shoot.

MG42, Bren, M1 Garand / Carbine, Russian PPSH. Also had some modern ones Ak-47 and the like.

I would recommend it, but take lots of money if you intend to shoot alot.

Enjoy :)

The shot show is on from the 17th-20th if you are still there by then. I hear a few from the UK go over for it.

we just got back, we left it to the last minute to find a place (christmas day !!!) but got a slot at machineguns vegas,

there are just off the strip and collect you in a van with 2 machine guns on the roof - subtle lol !!!

dunno if it was cheap or dear as had nothing to compare to...... the mrs fired 4 pistols - 9mm glock/.45 1911/.44 ruger and a .50 desert eagle, 31 bullets in total for $120

loads of guns upto .50 barrett and belt fed monster things !!!!

During the shot show battlefield is humping busy , I used range 702 and was pleased to discover that my handgun muscle memory is still with me after all these years and I'm still reasonably effective !

If you want something a bit less touristy then I can recommend American Shooters, it's a fairly short taxi ride from the strip and you just rent a lane and whatever guns you want to shoot. Ammo was very reasonable (much cheaper than Battlefield), you just buy as much as you want and get on with it. I've done the belt fed machine gun thing before so we just rented a TRP 1911, a SIG P226 and a couple of hundred rounds.
Sadly the S&W500 was being repaired when we were there :-(

Better than you being the one that finds out it needs to be repaired! :run:

I tried the 500 , it's a handful , watch your thumb doesn't get cut

to be honest I could get a cylinder full of 357 into a kill zone before I'd recovered from recoil on the 500's first shot !

nice to do but no practical use that I can think of?
