you aren't getting this whole Manager role right, they should be removing it and transporting to your HOUSE, not a container. unless you are going to then fill the container and get that shipped to you

There are actually two containers you would not believe what is in them. Everything from nuts and bolts to a garden rotavator. No idea were that came from.

OK, not quite the same however it has promise, the tie bars look to be a tad long however easily sorted. Is it a 10 ton job? If so that should easily cope with anything you put in it, just makes sure to bolt it down at a sensible height :)

Yes its a 10 ton jobby. Its a heavy piece of kit I will just store it for now. They are about to demolish the buildings that was the work shops. Every thing has to be out and skipped by the end of the month.They are going to fence the Area in so I wont be able to access it until the demolition guys are done.

The end of another era the work force is gone scattered to the winds and all the years of experience gone with them for ever.

As I have often said, the press we use is a game changer and is used for so many things as well. I had to press out some sling bushes the other day and it took seconds with no effort and absolutely no damage to the bushes, to do it with a hammer and drift would have been hit or miss at best.

Its locked away safe and sound in a container. It might be a while before I can access it apparently the building has asbestos in it so the whole area needs to be fenced off until they clear it and demolish the work shops. I managed to to salvage quite a bit of interesting stuff and stash it in the container. I had to skip a ton of clock gauges micrometers lathe and mill center gauges end mills taps dies and all sort of other stuff. Copies of auto cad computers you would not believe the stuff I have skipped. A whole room lined with drawers from floor to ceiling four deep with records and samples going back to 1948. They are all hard wood tongue and grooved beautiful pieces built my craftsmen. Skipped.
