The flash hider on my SVD certainly makes it louder, but it is fixed as it is integral with the front sight block so it's staying......never had anyone moan about it, the opposite infact as virtually everyone wants to shoot it! :good:

And there is the answer.. if anyone mentions your muzzle brake/break, offer them a go.

Never met a shooter yet who doesn't like to try something new and it breaks/brakes the ice..

Well yes, but only cos I know him from another forum as a kit tart and even then fondly and with much affection! :D
