The feeling I got from that was "If you dont like it here - leave" - Yet if SB did flounce out because he was offended, he would be branded as one of the snowflakes who cannot take a joke !
If the admins on FBUK took the same stance as the admins on your other forum, he wouldn't have an account to leave.

the banter between him and me would think we dont like each other if they did not know us.

I do not know Mark enuf to pass judment, as far as I am concerned I only had pleasant dealings with him & he has always been nice + efficient as a vendor . He does come across as looking down on anybody who does not share is love or does not have 2K to drop of a straight pull AR but that is highly subjective & I cerainly would not hold it agst him.

Banter is 100% ok but the "banter" I once witnessed, I actually thought he was treating you like a utter clown. It did actually make me feel very much uneasy. You obviously must know him a lot to put up with his sh*t ... ;)

Would you like to expand on that?

Yes - but the next day he did a one-off job for me that most gunsmiths would flat refuse as too much messing about. He did it while I waited. Charged me £20 ( I am sure an hourly gunplumber rate is more ) and then we popped to pub for lunch and a couple of drinks.

Works both ways - I wind him up about whether he might be a prod. You know you are on good terms when you can take the p*** on that level.

I don't need to. It's clear enough.

Well, I think this thread is lacking in AR pics so, I present my Bradders Arms .22 with brand new optics. More in keeping with the compact concept than the scope that was on there.

Not sure what other forums SB is on but of the two others that we are both on, I have yet to see anything like Braddersgate.

Well this thread has gone on long enough, in the main going nowhere, for no purpose after the second post.

One thing it has shown is that some of you, when you choose to, can discuss straight pull ARs informatively and without rancour or brand competition, as always such threads and discussion are welcome on Full-Bore UK in the appropriate forums.

However if they end up becoming the maker competitive, marque tribal, straight pull AR fashion adverts, bereft of content as they have been in the past then they will be locked.

It just takes one to spoil it.
