a focused forum is a fine thing although it has to work hard to keep peoples attention.
having a sub-forum for a specialised interest would have many positive benefits, however trying to stuff it down admins throat isn't the way to get it, lines have been drawn and no-one wants to be the first to back down, I understand that, but eventually its going to sort itself out and having a hissy bitch-fight every time someone says the wrong thing isn't helping speed things along!
and deliberatly pouring petrol on the flames as has been done by both sides isn't helping either! how about everyone agree to live and let live?

or I can get get my assault keyboard out and start posting some seriously long posts ? teanews

Cant we all just get along?

Well put Ken, probably best to keep the assault keyboard under lock and key for a bit longer :)

That would be a top idea Lord Flashheart, but some people seem fixated on winding other people up, and when it gets out of hand they lock the thread, winding people up even more.

I agree sometimes it does become mine is better than yours, and there is a vendors section but if someone asks advice......

Also sub forums I think are a good idea, not just for SP but how about under rimfire for Pump / Semi / bolt / Target, it helps people with an interested in that field find the forum or advice quicker, but hey what do I know?

Just a quick word regarding the CSR Forum. Some people have been culled and dont get why.

The reality is that all forums and moderators are wary of people who join and then contribute sweet FA. The CSR Shooter forum and CSR in general is anything but elitist, but the forum is there largely to service those who (and by and large in spite of tearing chunks out of each other online are friends) shoot CSR/PR in the winter league and the Imperial as well as other odd practice shoots. Its for CSR shooters rather than just AR owners. There are loads of active sites for AR owners, but as far as I know CSR Shooter is the only one looking after CSR shooters, regardless of what they shoot.

The comps take a hell of a lot of arrangement and a good knowledge of those shooting so that Bradders (who does the squadding amongst other stuff) can ensure that new shooters are always paired up with an experienced CSR bod for safety reasons and to avoid snags. There are also a lot of discussions about comps, COFs, and CSR specific stuff that many forums would not get...I mean....we are all baby killers apparently according to one gent as we shoot at figure targets... lol

So if you got binned, chances are you were either never clocked at a match, or you registered and never posted your correct details. :good:

It has sod all to do with being liked or fitting in otherwise Airbrush and I would have been binned years ago clapclap

As an aside, if you have a nice straight-pull AR or PO capable Boltie, come along and have a bash. You will probably go home smiling regardless of the outcome but if you do well so much the better. It only takes one small cock up to go from hero to zero....been there as has everyone else, its part of the learning curve wallhead If you dont fancy all that running about try the historic at the beginning and end of each season.

Your post surprises me polemass; am I to assume from it that your an ex member of the CSR forum?
I thought maggot summed up what the CSR forum is about quite well.

As maggot has said the CSR forum is primarily a competition forum not an equipment forum and those forum members who haven't actively participated in the matches have been binned.
The other thing is that CSR forum members will meet face to face at the monthly matches, we know each other and that tends to keep the banter with in limits. On this forum, apart from a few people I've no idea who they are "in real life"
