Have you looked at any other makes?

The Steel Core Cyclone is every bit as good as the AI. My .308 is extremely competitive at 1,000 yards with a good handload.

It depends on what you consider to be expensive. AIs aren't cheap either.

I bought mine direct from the factory but I see they now have a distributor:

Only by £1546! :o

AI AT 24" or 26" threaded currently listed at £3429.

Oddly enough in the review of the Steel Core they don't mention barrel length, only to say that a shorter 20" is available.

This feels like a dig at my first posts.
Funny that though, Id assume the actual experience of someone owning an AT, as I do, may have been useful. I was merely trying to find out what kind of information you were looking for...

I explained further and you didn't reply, therefore I surmised you didn't have the answers I was looking for.

Later, I was pleased to hear from other members with the answers I was looking for.

I apologise if you feel offended, I am perhaps not best suited to tiptoeing around people's feelings I admit. :)
