Re: Differences between the Accuracy International models?
Have you looked at any other makes?
The Steel Core Cyclone is every bit as good as the AI. My .308 is extremely competitive at 1,000 yards with a good handload.

It depends on what you consider to be expensive. AIs aren't cheap either.Dellboy wrote:Racalman wrote:Have you looked at any other makes?

I bought mine direct from the factory but I see they now have a distributor:
http://www.wmsfirearmstraining.com/revi ... one-rifle/
I think I must have had a good guy discount

Only by £1546!Dellboy wrote:Is that not dearer than an AI

AI AT 24" or 26" threaded currently listed at £3429.
Oddly enough in the review of the Steel Core they don't mention barrel length, only to say that a shorter 20" is available.

This feels like a dig at my first posts. The Lord Flashheart wrote:Thanks guys, good to hear from those with some actual experience of the product over and above looking at the webpage.![]()

Funny that though, Id assume the actual experience of someone owning an AT, as I do, may have been useful. I was merely trying to find out what kind of information you were looking for...
Re: Differences between the Accuracy International models?
I explained further and you didn't reply, therefore I surmised you didn't have the answers I was looking for.
Later, I was pleased to hear from other members with the answers I was looking for.
I apologise if you feel offended, I am perhaps not best suited to tiptoeing around people's feelings I admit. :)
