I was watching Cajun Porn Stars earlier and someone brought in a Gold Plated Iraq War Tribute M16, even included some plated rounds. I think it was this one, pics don't work for me but I'm not on photofeckit:

Then it made me think that perhaps we are doing this all wrong. Part of the problem with the public perception of guns and shooting must be the sinister black image of rifles and pistols.
Maybe if we abandoned the menacing image of 'tactical weapons', dressed in bright clothing and our guns were coloured gold, pink, bright blue etc the public would be more accepting and not try to take our guns away. Even Mumsnet might be pacified.
Am I on to something here?

I want my semi auto and my shotgun to resemble something out of Borderlands in terms of paint job. Only reason it hasn't happened yet is disposable cash enough to get them both cerakoted. I'd have no problem shooting a bright orange firearm.

I think the Torgue colour scheme would look good on a heavy barrel AR.
