I stayed 7 miles out of town in a hotel/casino favoured by locals. I was probably the sole non US guest. Only £14 for a 3 day unlimited bus pass.

Fantastic T-Bone with all the trimmings and dessert washed down with a beer for less than £20 inc tip. Same meal in the tourist traps was treble the price !!

I loaded up each morning at Dennys Diner ( again with the locals, not the gullible tourists ) with their huge hot skillet breakfast - kept me going all day til T-Bone steak time again.

Were the hookers cheaper out there? The ones hanging around the Venetian Circle bar were gorgeous, but bloody expensive.

Very sensible......but the idea of going to Vegas and not staying on the strip, getting hammered, all night gambling and chatting to hookers knowing that you’re not paying for anything they might have to offer is part of the trip!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

I went with Mr Zilberback and a few other friends they'd been to the shooting show before and said this was smaller than previous shows but did say that it was still really good. It was my first shoot show and id seen some of the negative comments on other forums, so i kept an open mind i thought is was a really good day out there where some deals to be had. We all bought NGT large range bags think they where £15 down from £20 really good for sticking all that extra stuff in that you end up taking down the range. My only regret was not going back to Ronnie Sunshines for that Remmington 1911 gas Pistol that they had for £20 off. Defo a great day ill defo go again :-)
