That was Putin. Merkel was more on the edge of hers.

Putin is a big player in this "game"
He served his maximum terms as president then went to be prime minister but STILL ran the country
Then went back to president and is still there

An akita and a central Asian Shepherd dog Yumi and Verni. Yumi was even gifted to him by the Japanese and they kinda upset he wouldn't take another dog as he has three already including a Bulgarian Shepherd dog, I can tell you he trains them himself because of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOemaZfcQ5g She doesn't stop until he says so. I can't say how I know but the manner he acts with her goes beyond someone who just palms off a dog for others to train.
