Finally Something Good To Say About TVP Firearms Dept.

#1 Post by Dark Skies »

My one for one variation was turned around in three weeks - simple remove and replace for the same type and calibre firearm (last one broke beyond economical repair). The variation before that took over two months - a very noticeable improvement.
But special note should go out to the person responsible for noting, correcting, and amending details on my existing FAC without prodding from me.

Said person amended FAC slot for .223 ammunition to also include 5.56 x 45
Corrected the .22 semi auto rifles that the last person who handled my variation had put as bolt action.

The latter I noticed a few weeks after it had arrived and meant to have corrected and then became distracted by my mum having a stroke and let it slide. This time around I specifically meant to have the new variation reflect the inaccuracy and ... forgot.
However, someone in their office is really on the ball and put forth the effort to get things spot on.
When TVP get it right it's only fair to give due credit.
I hope whomever handled my certificate this time stays on for my renewal dome years hence. When you get a good one keep them.

Sounds like it might have been the person who sorted out mine to be .44mag/.44sp rather than just .44mag.
After I contacted them he got a replacement printed and in the post the within 24 hours

I think you could be right - just noticed that where my previous cert. had simply said .44 it is now .44 mag / .44 sp.
