#1 Post by falco67 »

as well as Shotgun and Black powder Acquire and Keep Certificates.

My renewal date was 10th September 2018 and I applied for my renewal on the 1st May 2018. I had my FEO visit on the 3rd July and I have received my new Certificates today, the 17th July.

Well impressed!

Its Nottinghamshire David.

And my application date was the 31st May not the 1st May! So about 6 weeks altogether!

Well here in Lincolnshire I guess we cannot complain as our RFD arrived around 3 months early, lets not talk about FAC's :)

I've just sent my renewal in with the FAC expiring in Sept. However, in mid April I sent a 1 4 1 variation in which arrived back yesterday, roughly 3 and a bit months to turn it around. Not that long ago West Yorks would do new variations in under two weeks. They must have been severely cut back in regards to man power.

Wish they would do my variation in that amount of time

My FAC expires in April 2019, when is the absolute earliest I can apply for my renewal?

I am in Nottinghamshire and would like to beat this GP letter nonsense that comes into force from the 3rd December - can I do it now? I am guessing there will be a rush of people in a similar position so want to do it in good time!

I think you'll Struggle to get the renewal accepted 4 month early.
Tell them you're going on holiday and if it will be OK. You never know
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

The only way to know for sure is to phone them up and ask. ;)
