interesting take on the idea of a double action carbine, would be intersting to see how the UK Police feel about it, although it has to pass the ATF first and gain acceptance in the US.
as an aside I am undecided whether their gaff with inrange was an advertising masterstroke or cutting their own nose off ? teanews

Gaff Ken, what happened? About the only thing I saw was Youtube issues where new Inrange videos were not being shown.

They posted a video saying that they wanted to review this gun, but Franklin Armouries didn't want them filming. Looks like it is to do with a rather cringey video from last years show, where Ian is talking to a rep who obviously has no idea what he is talking about, or to for that matter.

Anyone else have the Dardick brought to mind....?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Thats a bit of a blast from the past, along with the Gyrojet and the .44 Auto-Mag. :)

I think this rifle might be a turkey - Shooting a double action revolver is hard work where your trigger finger only really has to cycle the hammer and rotate the low friction cylinder. This rifle you will need to extract and eject the round and cycle the bolt. The bolt travel needs to be long enough to allow a fresh round to present from the mag, the return spring needs to be firm enough to reliably strip a new round off the mag and chamber it. There must also be a breech locking system and firing pin disconect mechanism in there too.

That's an awful lot of work for one finger to do more than a few times. Either the trigger will have an excessively long mushy travel and lazy locktime or it will be stiff as hell.

This video:

Confused sales rep who clearly has no idea who he is speaking to and waaaay out of his depth. To be fair Ian was polite even whilst asking tough questions.

yeah, it was very cringe, but then, it's kind of their own fault, you put a guy on a stand and let him talk to people without knowing WTF he is on about, and you will get these kind of responses.
