Moral Dilemma
I ordered some shooting accessories from a supplier in China and was given a 2-4 week window for delivery. They provided tracking details and it was shipped - according to China Post & Royal Mail the following day. After the four weeks was up, the delivery had not arrived and after a further two days I contacted the supplier who suggested it was lost. They offered a replacement or refund and I asked if another item could be added, at my cost. They added it at NO cost and despatch was confirmed.
Then suddenly two days later the original resurfaced and was delivered. So, I now hove the original and a second free set of accessories, on the way.
What would you do in this case? Should I tell them? Should I keep quiet? Should I sell the second set? Should I pay for two? Lots of options. Interested to hear your various views.

Re: Moral Dilemma
I had a very similar situation with an item I purchased from a Russian seller some time ago. They sent me a second item as the first one didn't arrive but eventually two arrived.
I contacted the seller, explained what had happened and paid them for the second item that they sent out in good faith and I ended up selling it on for more than I paid for it anyway so all was good. The next time I ordered from the same seller they remembered my honesty and give me a sizeable discount on my order.
If the Chinese seller looks up the tracking info they would be able to see that the original order has been delivered, they may not check but the real question is how honest you are?, to be fair if I sold something on Ebay, for example, and the buyer said they hadn't received the item when the tracking info said they had I'd be pretty cheesed off.

Re: Moral Dilemma
Personally if you even think it is I good idea to try and keep the both the orders without letting the seller know then I would suggest that your moral compass needs resetting.
I had a similar issue with some stuff just before Christmas when the seller sent me my order twice, I contacted them to make them aware of the error saying that if they wanted to arrange collection of the duplicate order then it would need to wait 'till the new year as I would be away.
They thanked me for letting them know and told me to keep both orders.

As the second set is in transit I would wait until it arrives, if it arrives, before deciding what to do.

Re: Moral Dilemma
A set of very similar responses showing the type of people we are, in general. I know though, that if I had put a similar question on other forums the responses would have been totally the opposite.
I actually emailed the seller soon after the original was received, told them and asking how we could resolve it, I would have paid although being through Amazon it would not be easy. Their response was keep them as a New Year gift from them! And they were still apologetic over the delivery failing which they have no control over.
So, I have made sure the feedback on Amazon (visible) and direct to Amazon (not publically visible) is very positive and told the seller that I will make a donation to a charity - which will probably be later in the year when I buy my poppies.

Let them know and offer apologies, they may well tell you to keep it to save a load of hassle...
You won't get any virgins though - who would want all that hassle anyway???
