I seem to remember discussion on here saying the proposal was for a magazine capacity limit.

Was it ten rounds? It was a number that would have greatly inconvenienced many pistol shooters of member states.

I'm sure this was off the back of the Charlie Hebdo attacks and intended to prevent people using AK type rifles.

I wasn't aware of any magazine capacity limits in NI, couldn't find reference to anything in the 2004 Firearms Order, I assume it's more recent?

I think the number of mags may be restricted in NI, the capacity limit was a proposed EU rule which I'm not sure the UK will apply.

I thought the whole purpose of Brexit was so that you guys didn't have to put up with stupid EU rules? So, let's hope the UK takes advantage of their new freedom.
