Preferred FMJ bullet for 7.5x55 Swiss
I have a superb Schmidt-Rubin K11 that I purchased last year (thank you Adam) and due to the lockdown, I have only managed to put a few cast loads through it so far.
In anticipation of the lockdown ending later on this year, I would like to load up some FMJ cartridges and would be interested in what forum members find are the preferred FMJ bullets for this calibre.
My K11 slugs at .2975/.3065 and I will be using RS60 powder.
Any suggestion/comments gratefully received.

Privi do a copy of the original, I think it is listed by Krank's as B345.

I use home cast Lee 150grn gas checked , with 16grns unique, gives around 1700 fps and has shot to 200yds OK, mainly used as gallery ammo, and at 25-50yds is great low recoil fun for penniesdodgyrog wrote:Thought of a cast boolit?

Thanks to all for the suggestions.
I already have a stock of the PPU 174gn FMJBT for use in other rifles and will give these a go.
Cast bullets are already sorted, I use the LEE 155gn, gas checked to .309 in front of Reloader 7 with good results.
Once again many thanks.
ukrifleman.

As long as it’s a quality bullet. Personally I have not found PPU to be so, in several calibers. Their brass I’ve found good, but the only advantage to their billets is a price point.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
