6.5x47 neck sizing

FWIW, the Lee 6.5mm Creedmore collet die works fine with 6.5x47 Lapua cases....

And before I could complete the post, the window timed out and I got the "you can no longer edit or delet this post".......so in case anyone saw the first bit and ordered a Lee collet die, you need to check that the decapping pin isn't too big to fit the flash holes.
The 6.5 Creedmore die that I got from Lee had a fat decapping pin that jammed the first time I tried it, so it needed grinding down a bit.
Just shove the mandrel in a drill and rotate the pin against a bit of grindstone until it's a loose sliding fit in the flash hole in a new 6.5x47 case.

Once rectified, the die works a treat.

6.5x47 Lapua cases come in 2 primer hole sizes, I became a cropper doing the same as you till I finally bought correct sized dies. Couple of times I broke the pins whilst depirming.

Did you mean to say 6.5 Creedmore? 6.5x47 Lapua cases have only been made by Lapua and all of mine are small rifle primer pockets. However, the 6.5 Creedmore cases can be bought with large or small rifle primer pockets.
