I would still like to find an original Parker Hale 1200TX "stripped bolt" or "bolt body" with the flat half knob stamped with PH.

Are stripped bolts (no internal parts) a restricted item for shipping to the United States?

I think some components are OK..with all correct paperowrk and permisisons. Some companies import bits, assemble them and stamp them "made in USA" or ABC Tactical imports or whatever...

I know sending a complete magazine to the US from the UK was a no no...but if I sent the case in one bag and spring, floor plate in another it might have been OK, I never pursued it.

Sending a complete rifle i am told is problematic...best try source there obviously.

The bolt suggested from E-Sarco is junk and will not suit me needs.

Anybody else have any experiences or knowledge if you can ship a stripped bolt to the US?

Still looking.

To be honest from UK to US I'm not sure. You could try the State Department Web site, they deal with import licences and possibly drop them an email.
