I remember them at the time and reading an article in Shooting Sports or some such thing that said they had been to the HO with them who concluded that in the traditional sense they were not pump action and described as grip cocking or some such....

I often fancied one which is how I know Lawman had one for sale for years.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

I think you are better off keeping your kidney - its one hell of an ugly rifle - but as you say, would get some attention on the range.

That really is quite... special.

Despite it being technologically clever, I'm not sure I could warrant buying, or keeping, such an ugly rifle. Sorry, but it just pushes even fewer buttons than the new Accuracy International.

I know it's not stunning but I didn't think it was that bad looking.

Looks awful, to me it looks more like a cheap air rifle. For me 2k= another Dragunov, which in my opinion would get far more attention at the range.

Sorry but that is as aesthetically pleasing as Jackie Stallone!

I am sure that they are well made, being German, but they just dont do it for me (bull-pups in general). I could see the appeal in owning something like an EM2 for its historical value only but that thing just makes me cringe. Maybe I am just a Luddite but I like a rifle to look like a rifle and not something that appears to have been sketched up by an epileptic on crack (no offence to any epileptics meant)
Thats whats good about shooting, there is something out there for every taste :good:
