Its at Rogiet and is a 100 & 200 yarder with about 8 actual bays laid out but room enough for 12 - 16 at a pinch.

Owner Richard Williams is a friendly and top bloke.

Shooting Wed , Sat & Sunday.

Annual fee but no range-time costs.

200 yards would be quite nice, as Ledbury is 100M, and bisley is long drive, Rogiet from Lydney - not so much :)

That range is something Id be interested in coming along too.

psychosomatic, here it is on google maps, it's a nice range, and +1 to Richard Williams, he has been a top bloke throughout the whole process of booking the range. I am aiming to be there to set up at 10am on the 15th with the rest of the Uni club arriving shortly after, to start shooting by 10:30am.

DaveT, 12-16 at a pinch? I've been on that range when every bay has 2 shooters and another each side of the bay!

Well the link didn't work like I hoped it would, but looking at Rogiet, the range is easily visible, to the south east on the coast of the Severn

Agree that you can physically fit in more bodies if you are so inclined.......provided they behave themselves on the fixed number of target boards and are not shooting Black Powder next to you!

Very true, one of my old friends who I used to shoot there with would purposefully stand so I was down wind of him using his Schmidt Rubin 1889, with the paper patch and powder smoke, yeh less to say I hated him for it and still find pieces of tissue type paper in my range bag.

There are 2 guys who shoot there all the time, they used to use a orange land rover, but dunno if they still do, it's father and son and they wait until you shoot until they do, they use the messiest smokiest chocking black powder they can and they won't budge from the far right point, they won't talk to anyone else and u got no chance of getting point 1 if ure there at 0300! Right messes. ....They like to tittle tattle on you too, sny grumpy gits....i hope you don't have them there.....becase they pik point 1 on purpose as the wind always goes from them over the shooters....

Is this on a wedneday?

I know a few bp shooters there, and have seen a similar Land Rover, however, those 2 guys were 2 of th nicest people I've ever met and moved around points, so probably not them.

This is a private shoot on the Tuesday (15th April).

My uni shooting club have hired it out from Richard, so it's us and who we invite basically.
