It was a jokey bollocking....seriously!!
Paul was stood looking at me yesterday, unfortuneately we were in bits (NRA asking us to shoot from a non existant firing point on century was a factor) so I legged it before we got a chance to gas.
There was time for him to potentially try out the lot, but it will happen again so Paul, have a look next time mate.
When we start the dual target training shoots you can even shoot the thing.
I used to use an MTC viper at about 20x (24 did not work brilliantly). It worked, it still does on my M67, but the turrets were all wrong for repeated clear dialling of elevation. Windage is OK as long as you dont go past 6 MOA and forget (No stadia, they pop in and out to lock so you only have 6MOA per turn, so you have to remember you are past 6)
By comparison with the Sightron it has a ret like a tree trunk as well, but for £200 what do you expect?
MTCs are superb for the money and do the job, but they are not really a competitive F/TR scope.
There is a lot about second hand as well. Its funny how often people dont do their homework (I could not get on with the 8 clicks etc etc) and end up selling on at considerable loss
Or just realise that you can buy quality but ultimately it show you use it....errmmmm
There are hundreds of well appointed F and tactical type rifles out there with great and good glass on board....and most of the owners wont bite and usually tell you how it is.
Well...I say wont bite...there is Kenny C and his Ostrich but....
