You pay per lane the average price of a lane now a days is about £35 pounds. They are also now trying to charge you for all the lanes on any range you book. For example if you book a range with 6 lanes you pay for all six lanes whether you use them or not.

SevenSixTwo - It's a different etiquette for us civvies when sharing fox-holes...Assuming both are right-handed, then the best position is on the right, where you can rest your right elbow...but if you're concerned about the guy using 'a new load' in a rifle that hasn't been cleaned for three years, then it's best to jump in on the left...

...If there's three people, rather than being a problem it actually gives you more options...ideally you can still take the right, and place the third person between you and the other shooter...

I have never shot with more than two people in a fox hole. Our club would never put three people in a fox hole. I only go in a fox hole with some one I know to be a safe shooter otherwise I would just not shoot. Regardless of what the RCO dictated. If I was Range Conducting officer I would not put three people in a fox hole dug out or what ever you want to call them.

Alpha - I wasn't being serious...in reality, our only 'health and safety risk' is getting some of our more mature members in and out of the things...some have taken to using small ladders, which works well...

Haha, 3 people in a fox hole at Battle Hill range would be a sight. The fox hole equivalent of a clown car tongueout Two is more than enough of a squeeze. Third one is always prone. Typically it is one in the fox hole, one prone.

Another thing that irks me:

Me: "May I shoot kneeling/standing unsupported?"
RCO: *seizure*
