What are extractions like as a straight pull? The 7.62x54r cartridge is a bruiser of a round.

I've had absolutely no extraction problems with it at all, with milsurp or commercial ammunition.Also feeds flawlessly and the actions very smooth.I think it extracts nicely due to the 54r having a tapered case and a decent sized rim.Fedaykin wrote:What are extractions like as a straight pull? Nigel.........yep thats an SVDS spec and the only other one I've seen over here.From what I can gather there are only a handful in the UK.
