Apparently Lancashire have been forecasting 6 months for initial grant applications!

Opposite situation to me - I have my FAC and applying for my SGC. Applied end of March, contacted Police Scotland (Aberdeen) mid June and was supposed to have a home visit the following week, it's August and still no visit.

I suppose the middle of the busy period for renewals + PC's doing the legwork = Low priority for new applications and long processing times!

Wakefield had my renewal turned round in 3 weeks over the Christmas new year period I am very impressed with service since the new manager took over

Ring them ask them what the progress on your application.

I saw a few months back that they were saying min 30 weeks......which is 8 or so months, but 14 months!!!!!!!!!

No, they quoted me 5-6 weeks to add a rifle and it took them 7 weeks to turn it round.
