If these are like other chemical tests then you should just get a reaction to state the presence of the element and not the amount. I'd be surprised if there was no lead present.

- sounds interesting though I am still not sure what the intended outcome is intended to prove and for what reason.

.22 is messy...ample evidence of that for sure.
Is this all to dispute a manufacturers claim?
