An RFD Servant of the company is a named person who is formally authorised to act on behalf of the RFD, they can be in possession of firearms, ammunition and pressure bearing parts in the absence of the RFD as long as they comply to the conditions of the original RFD certificate.

Sounds reasonable to me, a servant should be subject to the same checks as an RFD if they have the same access to firearms surely?
