I heard that for heat, it only takes getting to 122 in old money Farenheit (that can happen in a car on a hot day) for the zero to shift and New Hampshire is closer to British Weather than California, Incidentally I belive Vortex are working on a Holographic sight to come out next year called the Huey that might be worth waiting, especially if its got a 1 moa dot and can work with the magnifier they make.Sim G wrote:froggy wrote:I must be lucky as I have two 552, one on a CMMG 22lr and one on a AR 223 S-A. According to forums, ome are finding them failing from New Hampshire to California. As said, Eotech even gave a returns and refund policy in place....
To be fair it was California and Arizona on hot days after being left for a while without any air con so you should be fine.Blackstuff wrote:Isn't 122oF ONLY 50oC???I'll remember not to put my Eotech on top of the engine of my car as I drive to the range
