No reply to my email requesting an update on how my application is proceeding.
They prefer an email over a phone call; not sure why given clerical work (that's pretty much all a variation on a recent FAC is) isn't their forte.
More work to pile up on top of the existing work I'd have thought. With a phone call you can pick up and instantly forget about doing anything about it without having to use a keyboard.
