Thats the rub. Mainland; everyone with a gun is bad. Province; it's not the gun that makes someone bad....

We can already have long barrel pistols or revolvers so what's the problem with them having a shorter barrel and no stupid arm brace ?! No crimes have been
Committed with them ! Surly just having a shorter barrel isn't going to turn law abiding citizen into a monster pysco !! As the Cambria murders proved, massacres against an unarmed people can be done with ANY type of firearm ! When will sheep get it into their thick heads

or, for a softly softly approach, let us have proper caliber semi auto pistols with long barrel and brace, if you are trusted with one of those, then take another step in a few years and drop the brace or barrel, then in a few years drop the other.... and at the same time, maybe drop the restrictions on the .22s

That assumes that someone with the power to change it is remotely interested in even listening to such supplications, never mind supporting and championing it.

Was that to ppl within your own 7.3 club? I've been told that as soon as the guns go from sec 5 to 7.3 they get more valuable as they have passed the test once but then they are'locked' to the range stated on my certificate. Wondering if i wanted to sell one if i could sell to someone at another range or not

They wouldn't like it here then if they doint like seeing armed police. :) they might change their minds if armed cops stop an attack they are caught up in.
Sim G is referring to a 'moral outcry' regarding armed police DARING to have their pictures taken in Newcastle city centre with shoppers who wanted one. Cue a flurry of snowflakes saying that it was disgusting having their "assault rifles" 5mith near the kids/they SHOULDN'T BE SMILING while holding guns etc etc. Funnily enough all those people have STFU since the Berlin market attack 8-)

Re. that 'moral outcry'...

The lack of understanding, hypocrisy, and general stupidity of this is truly staggering...

The English... I despair!

If one of those cops had shot the driver thru the windscreen, 12 people could be alive today.

Ironic that you hail from Nottingham, David!

It wasn't just Newcastle that people kicked off about cops with guns. There was the spate of complaints in Northern Scotland when cops were buying ice creams whilst side armed and in Nottingham, there was some phone footage of a couple if women giving a couple of armed officers a real hard time when they went into Tescos to buy a sandwich!
