Mused on the legality if attached permantly to a legal length AR15 etc

However the 203s were rifled anyway and it was all too much of a headache to contemplate.

As to "good reason" - when I asked for a slot for a 18" barrelled side by side, I just said "target and vermin".

I reckon you would just need "target" - doubt you could justify 40 mike mike on UK vermin !!
Saw a real-I-am 203 unit on a kosher M16A2 (3-rd burst version) after the ban. In an RFD awaiting destruction.
The 203 had been overstamped "Grenade/Flare"
The extra sickener was the owner was under the same force as myself & I'd have loved a 203 for my AR15A2!

I was trained with the M-79 back in the 80s, platoon weapons segment of infantry training, M-79, MAG 58 GPMG, RPG-7, 60mm patrol mortar and all the various hand grenades, claymores etc.

Anyway, we get deployed and when I get to the armoury to get my grenade launcher, we only moved personal weapons between training area and operational areas, they gave me one of these!

Heavier, but so much more firepower!

I'm wondering whether these spikes tactical 37mm flare launchers would be compatible with a baton round for falling plates-

Those launchers are compatible with prison food.
