Ah right, I remember hearing of a change last week but as I've not got my insurance through them I didn't look into the details.

I wonder what you're supposed to do if you're getting on a bit? I'd imagine approaching a 'normal' personal insurance company for shooting cover would receive a sharp intake of breath followed by a triple or quadruple numbered figure :bad:

I spoke to endsleigh about a topup for my father and was told over 80 is an industry standard cut off and he doubt another would cover him for personal injury, i.e. loss of limb, sight, hearing etc.

If your a member of the NRA you get it thrown in, and I expect you are covered by your various club insurance.
