I've had a (young) guy in the armoury kick off about the SCC issued by my club on behalf of the NRA. He didn't feel he could trust them. I had his manager tell him to wind his neck in.
My club operates a shooter assessment system that is in line with the NRA guidelines for issue of the SCC. It is as valid as any issued on a bit of plastic by their own admin team.
