Found it. It's a case from a 9mm spotting round.

Thank you, time to dig another one out :)

This one is 14X100 (ish) is belted and head stamped K4 1941 WII. K4 could denote the Imperial Chemical Industries Kynoch factory at Yeading, Hayes, Middlesex, UK.

I like this game the previous spotting rounds I have picked up a few of those, Now this one :idea: :idea: .55 Boyes AT rifle I would say

A 14X99B You do it again :D

I do have another to hand however it is stranger than the last two and has no head stamp. 20x103 rimless boxer primed with a short neck and 30mm head, I will take some pictures.

EDIT - two correct calls. ;)
