The main reason that AR Wars tend to break out is when the administrator of the site winds people up with terminology then locks the thread.
Saying that people do get very play ground with mine is better than yours, but that happens across the spectrum no matter what the subject matter is.
Maybe people should treat others, their selected disciplines and firearm with respect rather than with contempt.

I think you will find if you bother to look that the pretendy AR wars started on here long before I chose to use the terminology.

I think you'll find that it still doesn't help matters and causes major disruption in otherwise on-topic threads 90% of the time.

I think if you refreshed your understanding of your own forum rules then you would not have to Be reminded that you cannot advertise in any thread apart from for sale, which you then moved to shooting related wanted.
Why not just drop the terms you know wind people up?
