so what can you have on a SGC, that isn't a sec 2 shotgun?

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Fairly sure guns on tanks and IFVs for reenactors fall under it too.
