Wouldn't have thought the was enough metal in that for a magnet. I've ordered magnets already I know I have some metal hooks somewhere if I can't find them I'll order some of those. Thanks.

I use an old pillowcase. I bag the pistol, GSG 1911 and hang it off one of the hooks in the cabinet. This also protects against damage and moisture. When I take the gun out I simply leave it wrapped in the pillow case and transfer to the transit case.

the thing with magnets is that they will slide over the surface just not pull off it
