It made me wonder where an old dude would buy these guns. I imagine him trying to sweet talk gang bangers into selling him their Mac 10s outside a seedy nightclub..

if you think that is bad......

The Queen -vs- Edmunds - RFD convicted on indictment on several counts of distribution of prohibited firearms and ammuntion, to wit supplying antique firearms and loading ammuntion for the said antique firearms to gangs, of which atleast one murder has been linked too

The Queen -VS- Surdhar - FAC holder who was Edmounds middle man Pleaded guilty to multiple indictable offence counts of distribution of phohibited firearms

The two animals are due to be sentenced at the December sessions in Birmingham

Rightly convicted but I do wonder how much of what we see is hyperbole & media "spin".
Showing firearms in a bad/worst possible light appears to be standard SOP these days.
I've looked but can't find information on how many of the firearms were actually held by him illegally.
How many were "antiques" & how many were deactivated?
How much of the ammunition was live & how much of it dummies?

Those two deserve life sentences, as their "enterprise" produced weapons used in at least four murders.

And yet we have seen drug dealers get less whilst in possession.

I was similarly curious and could find no figures, seeing as he was convicted on 7 counts of posessing prohibited firearms and 6 for possession of ammunition, my assumption is that these cover the number of live firearms and calibres of ammunition.
However in the sensationalist world we live in the 160 figure sounds much better.
Anyone on here have any more insight?

The disappointment is that someone HAS to have an illegal collection to be able to collect such valid items of history because these items have been criminalised and unobtainable by law abiding people. Obviously they are not unobtainable by those wishing to flout the laws. It further illustrates how futile the laws are to curbing anything other than law abiding citizens, of which criminals, by their very definition, are not.

and yes he was keeping them off the streets in a way. The court were p1ssy on what MIGHT happen, which is hearsay - they MGHT get stolen - or MIGHT NOT! Same appplies to cars - they might get stolen and used in a crime too.

Fedyakin: The point I am making is that while he has broken the law and done us no favours there are other who commit far more heinous and serious crimes who get far LESS than a 5 year standard sentence - albeit it's the minimum as you rightly say. Mandatory sentencing is unjust IMO. Agreeed it's food for the anti's - but they make their stuff up anyway.

I wonder what acid attackers, child rapists, hate preachers etc get - just saying. How many of those cases do we read about where the scrote is sent home "to look after their kids" etc etc.
Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!
