Of course, if you need to raise a bank to a height of, say, 99cm, you need to extract 99cm of soil from elsewhere. Take it from in front of the proposed bank. Then you has 198cm of backstop and a downward slope towards it. The pretty flutterbys will like that, the rare flowers too. It traps the heat you sees, creates a ikkle microclimate. Stops hot things escaping...

I don't have hand so this is irrelevant to me, but I would expect that and open condition that states zeroing is there to stop a private range?

So, if you make 5 shots twice a year to zero you are fine..

You create a range, however you style it and use it 3 times a week for 3 hours.. one complaint, and I bet you lose your open ticket..

Do some covert sniffing..........
Find out how deep and long you can dig a trench without planning and how high to build a rockery without planning.
Build the rockery round the trench on 3 sides.
Sorted :good:
Or just do what you want on your own land and F**k em! :good:

You could always build a bower into the bank, using railway sleepers for the roof & plenty of sand against the back wall to ensure good drainage.

I think this may be the way to go! As long as i'm using subs, no one would ever know. If you zoom in on the main pic, you should be able to see the steel plate hanging.... :)

Apart from the clang of the bullet hitting the steel louder than the gunshot! :p
