Are you thinking that you could host events there?

Which ones do you think you have facilities for?

Thorney: Read up on the Glasgow Games results. From memory there is 300m Full bore rifle 25 and 50 pistol 50 m small bore rifle 7 and 10m air pistol and air rifle plus the various airgun events., I've forgotten the name of the bloke in charge but think he was e same as had been in charge at the London olympics. Failing that contact Sport England.

The full-bore rifle is 300 to 1000 yards.

Here are some photos of facilities at recent and forthcoming Games (note the target numbers):

Ladies and Gentlemen, will you please get it into your heads that there are no circumstances that there will be any shooting in Birmingham.

Unless the shooting organizations do that in-spite of what the CWG do & hold a 'CWG' clays at? , fullbore at Altcar, air at Aldersley SBR at somewhere etc etc if we accept & do nothing there will be nothing but its not beyond the ability of the NRA, NSRA, CPSA etc to do that if there is a will to do it & stand up for our sport! they don't even need to do it together, just at the same time but it would be better if they could collaborate.

I challenge them to do so...............

Perhaps not Legal shooting..... but given that Birmingham is a rough city, out on the streets there are bound to be a few incidents ;)
