It shows the use of the Barrett in such a set up by the U.S. Coast Guard. The .50 is used mainly to destroy engines on fast boats trying to sneak into the southern coast of the U.S. from what I have watched on youtube.

We "copied" or did something similar to the U.S. system when the London Olympics were on. The guys in our "meat hawk" helicopters weren't anywhere near as well equipped according to the press and in addition to their sniper rifles were issued with shotguns in order to engage terrorists in light aircraft or helicopters. It looked to me as if we had gone back 100 years to the days of the RFC (Royal Flying Corps) where aircrew would engage the opposition with rifles, pistols and shotguns.
Hence the expression "Going Winchester" living on to this day.

Some lovely photos on that link.

It doesnt look manipulated to me, more likely the lens he's using, it almost looks fisheye or very wide.
