Re: Ranges in Las Vagas
Thank you very much for taking the time with your recommendations for ranges for them to look at. I will pass the information on to them.

Re: Ranges in Las Vagas
Just got back from Vegas and visited "Las vegas Machine Gun Experience" - horribly expensive, but knowledgeable and friendly staff/RO's.
Went last minute at the end of a 2 week vacation - if I'd done some due diligence could have probably shot a lot more for a lot less...
Still, was a good laugh.

Re: Ranges in Las Vagas
There were many things on offer, but I limited myself to 5 guns I had not shot before, and 1 I am very familiar with....
Glock 17 gen 4
UZI - FA
M3A1 "Greasegun" - FA - Worn Sear - that thing ran away with itself...
UMP 45 - FA
Scar-H - FA
S&W 500
My wife (That's weird to say... it's only been a week!) also shot the Glock, UMP and SCAR ( because those guns are in PUBG, which she plays! haha!).
Not a massive amount of rounds fired. 25 each for the UZI, M3A1, UMP - 20 rounds for the Glock and Scar and only 3 rounds with the 500 S&W - due to too many people short stroking and firing the next round into the ceiling - they left a chamber empty after each round :(
All in was an eye watering $500 - so absolutely worth shopping around - we were on a time-constraint, so it was pay that or not add any guns to the "fired list"...

MP3 ... I hope you let a devil laugh out while firing
I am not surprised about the SW500 . I dont think I'd let a newbie fire one ...
Glad you both enjoy it !!!

Caty has not fired the Glock, so it was a bit of a show off time... I made it look easy, considering its the pistol I have the most time spent on... hahafroggy wrote:we have some 4 gen Glock ... you silly boy !

Early Bird special at Battlefield Vegas, but next Shot Show I intend to go to Clark county instead.
Re: Ranges in Las Vagas
Went to Battlefield Las Vegas a couple of years ago. Just tried a basic Iwo Jima Package $160.
A 1911A1 a M2 Full Auto and a Thompson 45acp. Not too dear considering they supply 90 Rnds Factory Ammo.

They had a Mini Gun, looks like they use blue training Ammo though, Suppose the backstop would have a hard time coping with 30/40 Rds a second.

Preferred the M2 The Thompson a bit too heavy felt a bit like carrying a Bren around. Somebody turned up at our last shoot with a straight pull M2. I'm not the least bit jealous.
Watch where you park your car though...

Re: Ranges in Las Vagas
Had a close look at last post of the Mini Gun ammo type used. Does seem to be a plastic type. Info on Google..

Wow, if I was paying those prices to fire the minigun I would be pretty p***** off if I wasn't shooting 'real' ammo!
