Thank you for your reply.
How do I know how much I am sizing the case down?

I am currently using a K&M mandrel that is used for turning neck cases, would this be 2 thousands bigger?
When I oredered the Sinclair expander mandrel die it doesn’t give exact mandrel sizes, I just typed in the caliber I am using. I am looking for a 1 thousandth difference I believe.

I don’t have a full length sizing for without a bushing.

I am using Redding imperial wax as lube.

I have always kept my gear in very good condition so I am not sure what is happening. A lot of the times I can get run out to 1 thousandth but lately it’s been a lot more.
I am also using the reading competition shell holders and have removed the spring clip to help float it.

Have you stripped and cleaned the die and seating insert recently?

I have been using a forster press since day one and its a very well made piece of kit. I have yet to come accross I die it wont take (IIRC I have a Wilson Mandrel that works fine with it).

The funny thing about neck turning is that, to my mind, any thickening needs reducing from the inside of the neck as well as the outside (persuming it has flowed forward as a result of one case wall being slightly thicker which is common). Its one of those things that unless it HAD to be done, I would not do. Not that it matters much with what I shoot these days.

But yes, 100% for the Forster coaxial.
